My first blog! I just got back from France a few hours ago and I'm really tired, so this will probably be boring and written in extremely poor English. Sorry. Could you please tell me if - when - I make stupid mistakes?
I'm a 16-year-old Dutch girl. I have no idea what else to write, so I'm just going to tell you about five things that I love and five things that I hate.
Things I love:
1. ) My family. I live with my parents and my two younger brothers, and I love them all two bits. Although sometimes I want to kill them. Using a pitchfork.
2. ) Writing ( and reading, of course ). Yes, I am one of the many, many people in this world who dream of becoming a writer. I used to write fantasy, but lately I've started to enjoy writing more realistic stories.
3. ) Skirts and dresses. I hate pants. I owe exactly one pair of jeans, that's all.
4. ) Big cities. I live in a small village and I hate it. I wish I lived in a proper city, with shops and cinemas and people who try to steel your bag.
5. ) Doctor Who. Yes, I'm an obsessed Whovian. I could go on about it for hours ( but I won't, don't worry ). Last autumn I actually dragged my intire family with me to Stratford-upon-Avon because I wanted to see David Tennant in Hamlet.
Things I hate:
1. ) My braces. It was OK when I was 12 and everyone wore them, but now I'm the only one left...
2. ) Eggs. I don't know how people can eat them without vomiting. They're disgusting.
3. ) The Twilight series. I don't get the hype. It's boring ( don't be offended if you do like them! ).
4. ) Alchohol. I went out for the first time last week, got slightly drunk and probably made a fool out of myself. Never doing that again. I'll just stick with coke from now on ( I mean the harmless, liquid coke. Not the powdery sort ).
5. ) Maths. HATE IT.
To answer the last bloggers question: I would move to London. Right now.
Next question: What place on Earth would you like to go if money wasn't a problem?
I hope I didn't bore you!

ReplyDeleteMe too! :D
"My braces. It was OK when I was 12 and everyone wore them, but now I'm the only one left..."
I'm getting MARRIED in braces >.< Not cool. I'm just going to keep my mouth shut for photographs!
"Alchohol."
And again, me too! British culture is so centered around alcohol though, it kinda sucks. I do like some alcohol in moderation, but I don't really get the appeal of being completely drunk :S
Also, your English is great :D
